Consortium for Energy, Environment and Demilitarization (CEED)

The Consortium for Energy, Environment and Demilitarization (CEED) offers a uniquely rapid, cost-efficient and collaborative contracting vehicle for companies and educational organizations seeking to enter the Federal market. As an alternative to the often complex Federal Acquisition Regulation, which might discourage small non-traditional entities from seeking to work with the Government, CEED provides its members and eligible Federal agencies a user-friendly partnership path.

The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2016 contains a number of significant changes designed to encourage and facilitate broader Other Transaction Authority use. These changes have been implemented in CEED’s Prototype Project award process, which begins with a Request for White Papers.
